Cosmetic Surgery

There has been an explosion in the popularity of cosmetic surgery in recent years. This can be attributed in part to aging of the baby boomer population, increased public awareness and acceptance and a greater choice of procedures that can, in the right hands, reliably transform our faces and bodies back to an earlier, more aesthetically pleasing stage of life.
When evaluating patients for cosmetic enhancement, it is our belief that individuals should be offered all available treatment alternatives, both non surgical as well as surgical. Armed with information, including the advantages of each of the options, patients can then make an informed decision on how they would like to proceed.

Liposuction (Lipoplasty)

Liposuction is a procedure that sculpts the body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. The procedure has been refined greatly through the years and the results are now predictably excellent in the right hands. Today, a number of new techniques, including ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty (UAL) and the tumescent technique have provided patients with better results and quicker recovery times than the past.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Abdominoplasty, known more commonly as a "tummy tuck," is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and to tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. The procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen and improve one’s appearance and self confidence.
